webmenu

webmenu is a CGI program that generates easily navigation menus like the ones used in http://www.ihnet.it/.

Why it is better than others?

it looks great
its "look and feel" is very similar to the "Explore from here" option in Windows 95, so it is very intuitive for the users
it is easy to maintain (for the webmaster)
it was expressly esigned for working with paranoid clients who disable java, javascrpit, activeX, cookies, etc.
(important for service providers) a javascript menu can be stolen easily by another webmaster. This webmenu no: YOUR customers will always have an exclusive appearance

Why doesn't www.ilpiola.it use webmenu?

Just because I personally do not like frames, and webmenu was designed for making full use of them, in collaboration with the experts of Internet House / Gruppo IH and Floridea 75 Grapic Design.

Availability

webmenu is currently available for SunOS/Solaris, Linux, and Digital Unix; please ask for porting on other machines (we are working on a Windows NT version).

Prices

The cost is 150 US$ per server; an ISP that hosts many virtual servers needs only one license.
